“The Round Mound of Rebound” has seen quite the resurgence in his retro Nike signatures as of late thanks to a Vac Tech edition of the original Air Max2 CB ‘94 and the introduction of the Barkley Posite Max – a fusion of the aforementioned ‘94 and NSW’s beloved Foamposites. Now Sir Charles’ Air Force Max CB – essentially his own signature edition of the Fab Five-popularized Air Force Max – gets a contemporary treatment of its own with the introduction of the Air Force Max CB 2 HYP. Like this year’s take on the Fab Five kicks, Barkley’s Air Force Max CB gets the seamless treatment – this time with lightweight and breathable Hyperfuse incorporated throughout. Expect a trio of colorways to be available from Nike Sportswear retailers like Tokyo’s atmos beginning September 21.
