At a time when internet surveillance becomes less a security measure and more so a societal threat, director Nacho Vigalondo is set to unveil a new film: Open Windows. Told almost entirely in the context of a computer screen, the film centers around Nick Chambers, played by Elijah Wood – an obsessive webmaster who follows superstar Jill Goddard (Sasha Grey). Chambers enters a contest to meet Goddard, which mutates into a chase for survival at the hand of an unknown cyber-villain. Part psychological thriller, part commentary on internet security, and the somewhat perverted realm of paparazzi, Open Windows is sure to create some controversy upon its release.
