T Lipop and River Island recently collaborated on a short film in celebration of River Island Design Forum’s first menswear collection. While the film made its debut at the Flash/On Film Festival early this summer, the full collection featured in the film has now surfaced. With nods at sportswear and military inspirations, designer T Lipop employs his minimalist aesthetic over padded and quilted pieces, while heavy outerwear staples are layered with printed button-up shirts and knitwear — merging modish styles with utilitarian designs. Overall, the collection exhibits T Lipop’s know-how in mixing innovation and tradition, crafting ready-to-wear garments with luxurious sensibilities.
