Staying true to theme of the series, D5 sees Wayne hopping on some of the year’s hottest instrumentals and addressing a variety of topics in the tape’s PSA-style skits. Among the tracks Wayne decided to go in on are Kendrick Lamar’s “B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe,” Kanye West’s “New Slaves,” Rocko’s “UEONO” and Rich Homie Quan’s “Type of Way.” The beat selection isn’t the only thing Wayne chose wisely on Dedication 5. Joining Tune over the course of the 29-song mixtape are R&B standout The Weeknd, Chicago’s star in the making Chance The Rapper, frequent collaborators 2 Chainz, T.I., Future, and a cast of Young Money affiliates.
