As Chris Paul gets set to kick off the 2013-2014 NBA campaign with arguably the best lineup in the history of the Clippers franchise, Jordan Brand has unveiled Paul’s latest signature silhouette – the CP3.VII. Designed for the point guard’s speed and unpredictable style of play, the lightweight kicks make use of a synthetic upper with Dynamic Flywire support while Nike‘s proprietary Zoom Air technology is coupled with Podulite – an evolution of the Podulon system employed by previous CP3 signatures – for low-profile, responsive cushioning. As a nod to both East Los Angeles and the ’80s era in which Paul grew up, the lead colorway of the new silhouette combines a bold combination of black, green, purple and blue. The CP3.VII is set to make its debut October 5 for $125 USD.
