James Blake featuring Chance The Rapper - Life Round Here (Remix)

After first hitting it off at this year’s South by Southwest music festival, James Blake and Chance The Rapper come together for a remix to Blake’s chilling track “Life Round Here.” Neither of the two artists are strangers to genre-blending collaborations, Blake’s involvement with RZA and Kanye West has been well-documented, and, while they may reside under the radar, Chance’s work with the likes of Lorine Chia, The O’My’s and Milo & Otis are definitely worth a quick google search. Here the Acid Rapper adds a whole new element to the Overgrown album standout, and after pressing play you’ll be glad to know the two are currently filming a music video for the track in Europe. I really like his mixtape [Acid Rap] and saw him at South by Southwest, I just thought his voice would work really well. I never felt the track was finished, even when it went on the album, I always thought there was space for something else.
