Goldfrapp - Annabel

Next week, September 9, sees the release the highly-anticipated album from Goldfrapp, Tales Of Us that finds their trademark synth-pop soundscapes transitioning into more of an acoustic-folk aesthetic. The Lisa Gunning-directed video for one of the album’s tracks, “Annabel” was just premiered on Nowness and was inspired by Kathleen Winter’s 2010 novel about a hermaphrodite kid who was raised in rural Canadian village in the ’60s.
