In a departure from his usual footwear collaborations with adidas under the Y-3 moniker, universally renowned designer Yohji Yamamoto has linked up with New Era‘s Japanese imprint for a special edition take on the ubiquitous 59FIFTY. Teased here, it appears to simply feature a black base with Yamamoto’s signature emblazoned in white across the front of the crown. Look for the cap to drop September 17 as a part of New Era Japan’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
