After leading Duke to back-to-back NCAA National Championships in the early ’90s, Grant Hill entered the NBA as the third overall pick in 1994 – ultimately winning co-Rookie of the Year honors for the Detroit Pistons. That 1994-1995 ROTY campaign was also significant for the release of Hill’s very first signature shoe – the FILA Grant Hill 1. Now the kicks are set to be reintroduced here in 2013 – hot on the heels of Hill’s retirement from the NBA – as the FILA 95. True to OG form, the 95 appears in navy/white and black-on-black colorways, each with leather and nubuck construction. Look for the 2013 retro editions of the classic signature to drop as a part of FILA’s “Re-Introduced Pack” come September 19 at select retailers and FILA’s own online store.
