Skateboarding is an enterprise founded on antiquated technology. After all, not much has changed about the wooden plank and wheels combination over the past three decades. What has changed though is the media surrounding the act, and moreover, the degree a select few will go to in order to progress the art. On the one hand then, Thrasher Magazine has played a large part in skateboarding distribution, most recently being honored to host the first part in Emerica‘s MADE video. On the other, the featured skaters – Collin Provost, Brandon Westgate and Leo Romero – propose about 25 minutes of progressive, frankly jaw-dropping skating, in an era where web clips are frequently written off. As a bonus, a new Toy Machine inductee also sees a surprise introduction to begin the video. Without spoiling too much, we’re happy to present MADE: Chapter One, a real game-changer. Enjoy it above, or be sure to catch a screening at your local skate shop.
