Bastille - We Can't Stop (Miley Cyrus Cover)

Well, here’s an unexpected twist from the music world – British alternative-rock and smooth electronica band Bastille has taken on Miley Cyrus‘s jumpy and provocative party anthem, “We Can’t Stop.” Kicking off the cover with a guitar-strum intro from Eminem‘s “Lose Yourself,” the band also threw in a mash up of Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Achy Breaky Heart” and reworked the lyrics to lightly (and subtly) poke fun at Miley’s controversial and scandalous media spotlight. Amplifying the tune an intricate instrumental and powerful vocals, Bastille’s cover of the pop tune is definitely worth a listen.
