This Christmas Ben Stiller is Walter Mitty, a timid wallflower quietly moving through the motions of life who finds an escape in his adventure-filled daydreams. Based on the famed short story of the same name, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty will follow Mitty — who has a soft spot for his coworker Cheryl (Kristen Wigg) and a secret sense of adventure — and trace his story as he jolts out of his mundane daily office routine and headfirst into a wild global exploration. With Stiller doubling as both protagonist and director, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty will be in theaters December 25.
