As New Balance Numeric prepares to launch in the coming season, its skate team has been hard at work compiling footage. The already devastating squadron of PJ Ladd, Tom Karangelov, Arto Saari, and Levi Brown has also added Sk8Mafia pro Tyler Surrey and Toy Machine representative Jordan Taylor to the team, featuring the group in a new video: “A Place in the Sun.” The eight-minute clip finds the team ripping through the diverse cityscape of Los Angeles, with Houghton touting some Pretty Sweet-esque slow motion cinematography. In sum, the line looks stellar and the team is nothing but prime cuts. Special cheers to Tom Karangelov for his merciless ripping of LA handrails, which will continue, we feel, in Zero’s forthcoming Cold War full-length.
