Mission Workshop Indian Summer Riding Kit
Anyone who has ever been to the Bay Area in Northern California is more than familiar with the term

Anyone who has ever been to the Bay Area in Northern California is more than familiar with the term “micro climates” and the reality that the dense fog keeps San Francisco cold and damp until the late-arriving “Indian Summer” sets in come August. As SF ushers in the warm weather months ahead, the city’s Mission Workshop has crafted an apropos range of merino wool shirts and stretch shorts for seasonal biking excursions in the region. All made in California, the collection includes three different designs: the Stahl Short, District Henley, and Linear Crew. Where the shorts boast American-made military-spec four-way stretch fabric, a Swiss-made Riri tack button, YKK zippers, and a raised rear waistband for extended coverage; the shirts feature 190g/sm merino wool construction – with added core filament nylon for both strength and durability – and custom aluminum ribbon buttons. Available as a kit or individually, the Indian Summer Riding Kit is now available via Mission Workshop’s web store.
