Here’s an official first glimpse at Evan Leong’s documentary about the Jeremy Lin’s rise from obscurity to stardom, titled Linsanity. The film aims to show a more personal side to Lin’s underdog story, emphasizing the role played by culture and faith in his success. The film is narrated by Daniel Dae Kim (Lost) and features interviews from NBA names including Mike D’Antoni and Yao Ming, as well as key figures in his life such as his parents and pastor. Selected for both this year’s Sundance and SXSW, the documentary is currently making its way across the international film festival scene and will make its U.S. release on October 4 in select cities.
