Lady Gaga presents the official visual interpretation for the single “Applause” from her forthcoming LP ARTPOP. Directed by duo Inez and Vinoodh – who also shot Ms. Germanotta’s recent spread for V Magazine – with production from Gabe Hill, the piece is prototypical of the pop icon, showcasing her avant-garde approach and flair for the dramatic. Enjoy the “Applause” video above and look for Gaga to perform the track live for the first time at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards later this month. ARTPOP is due out November 11.
