Hanon Shop x Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eighty-Five “Northern Liites”

Just four days into the return of Onitsuka Tiger’s Colorado Eighty-Five silhouette, the longstanding shoemaker announces its “Northern Liites” collaboration with retailer Hanon Shop. Originally released in the mid-eighties, this 2013 mockup takes a theme from Hanon’s 2010 collaboration with Onitsuka’s younger brand ASICS and a pair of GT IIs inspired by the natural light phenomenon commonly known as the Northern Lights. In this Colorado Eight-Five iteration both its lateral and medial sides differ in color application to depict the Northern Lights’ change in coloring, whilst the rest of its upper features a mix of dark purple, blue and grey to portray the night sky. Additional details include plush calf suede, a fully color-blocked EVA and rubber outsole, red satin lining, dual branded suede tongue, and three lace sets. The Hanon Shop x Onitsuka Tiger Colorado Eight-Five ‘Northern Liites’ will released on Saturday, August 31 with a global release of September 7.
