First introduced last year, Geneva-based watchmaker Alpina presents an extension of its Extreme Diver range in the form of the 300 Extreme Diver Orange Collection. Designed to be water-resistant at depths of up to 300 meters (roughly 1,000′), the collection includes a 44mm stainless steel design and a smaller 38mm quartz model with the choice of either a rubber strap or stainless steel bracelet. In both cases the watch includes orange accents (which, according to Alpina, is the easiest color to see in all types of water) throughout the bezel – as well as a bright orange outline to the otherwise white minute-hand – while stark white markers provide superior legibility against a black face. Furthermore, both the face and bezel markers offer luminescent coating for reading in the dark. Look for both versions to be available soon from select Alpina stockists.
