John Watson – of bike and lifestyle site Prolly Is Not Probably – spent some time last month cycling China’s Yangtze River Delta. For those outside of the know, that meant a roughly 1,000km trip through some of mainland China’s most treacherous backroads, superhighways, industrial wastelands and crowded cityscapes. Led by the team at Shanghai’s Factory Five and accompanied by Mission Workshop, Watson was able to compile enough photos to create a photo collection book entitled THE ENDS. The title draws from the old idiom “the ends justify the means,” as applied to travel. The above video accompaniment illustrates a beautiful overview of Watson’s travels. Enjoy the above, and look for the 75-page premium softcover book at Mission Workshop in San Francisco, as well as on the shop’s web store.
