Selena Gomez debuted in the number 1 spot on the charts with her debut studio album Stars Dance, dethroning Jay Z who had held the position for the previous two weeks. Jay’s Magna Carta… Holy Grail is the only remaining hip-hop album in the top 10 as J. Cole‘s Born Sinner clocked in at number 11, Wale‘s The Gifted at number 20, and Kanye West‘s Yeezus at 24. Sara Bareilles who debuted in the #2 slot last week has dropped down to #8 and Justin Timberlake manages to still hang around by securing the number 10 spot for the second week in a row.
