ScHoolboy Q Discusses Meeting Eminem

About a month back, a photo of Eminem and the TDE crew in studio surfaced and quickly made its way around the internet. Since, we’ve heard Kendrick Lamar reflect on his experience of meeting Em, and now MTV links up with fellow Black Hippy member ScHoolboy Q to hear what it was like for him being able to meet the legendary Detroit rapper. Q’s third studio album, Oxymoron, is set to impact later this year.

We just sat there, we chilled, we talked. We expressed what we liked about each other’s music, we talked about Slaughterhouse, we talked about his artists, we talked about us individually. He’s just a good dude, just chillin. I sat in there and I didn’t say nothing. I soaked up game, I didn’t want to say too much. I can’t go in there running my mouth trying to act like I know everything, that’s a dude that done been from nothing to something. I sat there and I just soaked up game. I didn’t really say too much, I was just listening really. I’m pretty sure one of the homeys gonna ask for a verse though.”
