Nike Launches Special Shanghai Footwear Collection

Nike has just announced a special collection paying homage to the vibrant city of Shanghai. A mix of current and classic footwear silhouettes will make up the collection, each representing a different aspect of the city. The 10 models have yet to be fully revealed but will include an Air Force 1, a Nike Foamposite, the new Nike Hyperdunk 2013, a Nike Free 5.0, Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Shanghai,” an Air Jordan 1 Retro, and a CLOT collaborative shoe. Each style is imprinted with the word “Shen,” the old name for Shanghai, and “Luwan Never Gone 310103,” a tribute to Lu Wan District — the birthplace of Shanghai’s street fashion. The collection will launch starting July 13 with one model launched each week for 10 straight weeks on nikestore.com.cn, at the Nike Huaihai Brand Experience Store and select retail outlets.
