Iterating the classic basketball silhouette with riffs of rebelliousness, Nike has reworked the Air Force 1s with striking metal and leather treatment. Following recent fads led by the likes of Christian Louboutin, the Downtown Hi Spike Black features a patent leather Swoosh and ankle strap, while silver spikes on the toe box area substitutes the usual perorations. The prickly accents furthers itself in the heel area, while thick leather laces and metallic branding adds extra esteem to the black-on-black profile. Priced at ¥18,900 JPY (approximately $190 USD), the Nike Air Force 1 Downtown Hi Spike Black is now available from Kinetics.
