A fan favorite among sneaker enthusiasts dating back to its array of original colorways during the early ‘90s, the Nike Air Flight 89 returns to the retail floor with a new white, black and deep royal makeup. Sharing a sole unit with the iconic Air Jordan IV, this year’s revival will feature a speckle sole – something we’ve been seeing a lot lately from Beaverton – and the integration of rubberized, waterproof mesh paneling. What’s great about this model is that Nike decided to keep all of its original branding from the Air Flight script on its tongue to the half check on its medial side and Nike Air logo on the heel. For those that can’t wait, the Nike Air Flight 89 White/Black-Deep Royal is currently available through Crooked Tongues for £90 GBP (approximately $135 USD).
