Jhené Aiko covered 2Pac‘s classic “Keep Ya Head Up” during her performance for Rap-Up TV. Just yesterday, Casey Veggies released a track called “Baby Don’t Cry” that paid homage to 2Pac by referencing this particular song as well. Pac once said “I’m not saying I’m gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world.” As he guaranteed, we continue to see his legacy live on in the world, but not just limited to the musical realm. Jhené Aiko is the latest artist to honor that legacy. The talented songstress’s debut album Souled Out is scheduled for a 2013 release. Stay tuned for a solid date.
