Road Runner Sports x Nike Air Pegasus+ 30 “California”

Reminiscent of the classic “Cali” take on the low-top Nike SB Dunk and paying homage to its roots in the Bay Area town of Del Mar, California-based Road Runner Sports has teamed up with Nike for a special edition of the Air Pegasus+ 30. Taking inspiration from the Bear Flag of the California Republic, the neutral runner sees the flag’s red, white and green colors throughout while the brown of the flag’s grizzly bear – modeled after “Monarch,” who lived at San Francisco’s Woodwards Gardens before moving to the zoo at Golden Gate Park in the early 1900s – dominates the Hyperfuse paneling, mesh tongue and Engineered Mesh heel of the shoe’s upper. A final Road Runner Sports touch comes in the form of “RRS” branding across the tongue. This limited edition version of the Air Pegasus+ 30 is now available to pre-order online for $99.95 USD before shipping this August.
