While his Roc Nation boss Jay-Z will secure the top spot on charts next week, it now looks like J. Cole will get his moment atop the charts this week with his album Born Sinner. Three weeks after its release, Cole’s album album sold an estimated 55,000 last week. Kanye West‘s Yeezus and Wale‘s The Gifted beat out Cole’s sophomore LP in previous weeks, but Born Sinner‘s steady rate of sales has finally landed it the number 1 spot. Cole’s debut album Cole World: Sideline Story also topped the charts with its release, so this is his second number one album the NC representative. Congratulations Cole.
