Deviating from its ubiquitous resin band, Casio’s G-Shock line of wristwatches introduces the GA100MC Military Cloth Collection for the Summer 2013 season. Although the modern day wristwatch was developed during the late 19th century, it didn’t become widespread until the military found a need for its ergonomic use during the First World War. Now a century later, G-Shock gives it a digital makeover with the above collection. Admirers will have their choice of four cloth bands with matching bezels where colors include black/yellow, green/yellow, blue/red and all-black. As with other GA100 models each watch will feature a large case, large anti-skid buttons, embossed indexes, a shock, and 200M water-resistant construction, as well as a 1/1000th second stopwatch with speed indicator. Be on the lookout for this collection to hit retailers at the end of the month.
