Lucas Puig and his first signature sneaker with adidas Skateboarding will continue to see new iterations for the brand’s 2013 fall lineup. Taking design cues from various tennis models found in the shoemaker’s extensive archives, the Lucas Pro offers a very clean, refined look with a suede and high-abrasion canvas upper. Per Puig’s request, a SPRINTSKIN™ upper – typically seen in soccer cleats – is applied for a lightweight construction whilst all unnecessary padding and foam have been removed. This creates a shoe that gives technical riders more control and excellent board feel. Additional details includes an EVA midsole and a molded sockliner for a cushioned ride and support when needed. For the upcoming fall season the Lucas Pro will see a burgundy and navy makeup as well as a black, grey and blue rendition.
