As adidas continues its 15th anniversary tribute to influential skateboarder Mark Gonzales, the brand recently held a 15th anniversary exhibition in Berlin. The display was home to works from Gabe Morford, Joe Brook, Skin Phillips, Brian Gaberman, Benjamin Deberdt, Sem Rubio, Eric Noren, Dan Wolfe, and Torsten Frank as the photographers and filmmakers told the story of the Gonz through their very own lenses. The Gebr.Quakatz Gallery in the Kreuzberg section of Berlin was transformed to pay homage to the legend as a bevy of previously unseen photography and footage appeared alongside the Mark Gonzales x adidas Skateboarding 2013 Capsule Collection. Look for the retrospective to embark on a global tour after leaving Berlin on July 6 while the exhibit’s film will be released online in its entirety come July 15.
