Last time, Mercedes-Benz was kind enough to invite us along for a spin in its newly introduced 2014 CLA. This time we are back for another video featuring Benz‘s 2014 range of E-Class models. Taking place in Hamburg, Germany we were given a rundown on different variants of the E-Class, from the E200 to the E500, however, our test vehicle of choice was the E400 Cabriolet — the successor of the E350. Fitted with a 3-liter bi-turbo V-6 engine that is capable of an acceleration of 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds, the E400 boasts 333hp and 354 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 RPM. Mercedes have also made additional changes to the interior and exterior, adding refined touches like an analog clock, redesigned surfaces with premium leathers, and a truly aggressive front that contains multi-lighting under one housing and a single bar grille, reminiscent of the SLS. Watch the video above for a closer look at the sporty yet elegant 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
