From the western coast of Sweden comes Velour, presenting its collection of refined goods for Summer 2013. Consistent with the brand’s minimal approach to casual staples, the summer goods are a collection of lightweight shirts, blazers and chinos, tastefully detailed for a versatile set of arrangements. Drawing influence from the heydays of art deco style in Miami, highlights here include a crisp seersucker-style collared shirt, a knitted sweater executed with tropical parrot print, and short-sleeved plaid shirts. The pink wash motif running throughout the collection adds an air of exoticism to the range, which will be available on Velour’s web shop in the coming weeks.
