Ahead of the album’s July 4 release, Samsung launched Jay-Z‘s corresponding Magna CartaHoly Grail app today. As previously reported, the first 1 million users who download the app – free of charge – will have the opportunity to download Jay’s forthcoming album (also for free) a full 72 hours ahead of its official Independence Day drop. The deal is huge for Hova, as it ensures that the album will go platinum and see $5 million USD in sales before it even hits shelves. In addition to the album itself, the app puts tons of behind-the-scenes videos, lyric sheets, artwork and additional exclusives right at users’ fingertips. The Magna CartaHoly Grail app is now available to Samsung Galaxy S4, S3 and Note II users via Google Play.
