During their press conference in NYC on Monday night, the full lineup for the legendary hip-hop festival, Rock The Bells, was revealed. After it was known that the likes of Wu-Tang Clan, Black Hippy and Jurassic 5 will grace the stage with live performances, J. Cole, Action Bronson, Big Daddy Kane, Deltron 3030, Freeway, Girl Talk, KRS One, Rapsody and 9th Wonder, Wale, YG, Riff Raff and Slick Rick featuring Doug E. Fresh have been added to the impressive roll call. While the festival has focused on hip-hop’s legacy in the past, this year marks the 10th anniversary, with the lineup highlighting present-day talent such as J. Cole, KiD CuDi and others performing their respective releases. However, two virtual performances — featuring Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Eazy-E holograms — have been already scheduled to take the stage. During last night’s event, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg took over the moderating duties while attending guests could ask questions to artists such as Pretty Lights and the Flatbush Zombies. Rock the Bells is set for events in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C. and New York City this fall.
