Gourmet Footwear has certainly come a long way since its early days of reappropriating minimalist, luxe versions of Air Jordans. Since those formative years, Greg Lucci, Jon Buscemi, and the whole team behind Gourmet have created an incredibly diverse lineup of footwear that has effectively created its own niche within the world of lifestyle-technical sneakers as well as casual sneakers. The latest installment for the brand pulls on the celebrated “The 35” model. The pair is treated in a soft “Mint” micro-synthetic suede upper and is positioned atop an all-black outsole. Once again juxtaposing the technical mindset of runners with the luxe direction of Gourmet, an arrangement of waxed cotton laces, perforated panels and black full grain leather hits round things out.
