Bloc Party Going on Another Hiatus

After finishing the tour dates they currently have lined up, Bloc Party will be going on a second hiatus; this time it’s indefinite. Guitarist Russell Lissack said that the band had gotten better at discussing conflict since their 2009 separation, “but not a lot better.” This hiatus, which will be “atleast 6 months,” will likely get prolonged by the band members’ endeavors into side projects. With no promise of reuniting, an EP the band are planning to release at the end of summer could be the last new music we hear from them in a long time or maybe ever.
