Boldly introduced a day before Google‘s annual I/O conference, Canadian technology company Recon Instruments presents its Recon Jet smartglasses to the public. The company now introduces a video outlining the extreme functionality of Jet, framed here as an active alternative to Google Glass. The specs include WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, an on-board camera, and a host of other features – all powered by a brawny dual core processor and GPU. Accordingly, Recon Jet renders information in a seamless UX, measuring heart rate, temperature, speed, location, and even text messages in a hub that would leave even Tony Stark a bit jealous. Recon has rolled out an initial waiting list on their website, giving interested parties the chance to be amongst the first product owners.
