Vampire Weekend Perform on 'Saturday Night Live'

Vampire Weekend celebrated their return to Saturday Night Live, performing “Diane Young“ and “Unbelievers” off of their forthcoming album Modern Vampires of the City, which is due May 14. The first part featured the familiar surf-guitar runs and heavy drum patterns with frontman Ezra Koenig’s vocal delivery, along with a dapper-dressed baritone sax player to fill in the blanks. The stage translation of “Unbelievers” found Koenig playing acoustic guitar. The band was joined by a four-piece section of brass and flute. Definitely a live performance worth your while.
