There’s no denying that Rihanna has had the charts on lock ever since she stepped onto the scene

There’s no denying that Rihanna has had the charts on lock ever since she stepped onto the scene with her 2005 breakthrough single “Pon de Replay.” Here latest album, Unapologetic, continues this trend as this full-length has surpassed one million sold units thus far, as Nielsen SoundScan reports. This earns Rihanna another platinum plaque, making it her sixth album to sell over one million copies. Backed up by the strong lead bsingles “Diamonds” and “Stay,” Unapologetic is moving numbers faster than 2011′s Talk That Talk. Expect this number to increase even more as the Caribbean singer has announced the release of her new David Guetta-powered single “Right Now” as well as a visual companion for club favorite “Pour It Up.”
