Gallant - Please? (Vignette)

Nineties-inspired progressive R&B has become a sub-genre of its own over the past couple of years, and it’s more than likely here to stay for a while. A new artist that fits into the category and is making moves goes by the name Gallant, and today we’re premiering his brand new song in video form. The track, “Please? (Vignette),” certainly lends itself to fans of The Weeknd, but also has a similar feel to the likes of How To Dress Well and is one of those mellow, yet still bright songs that has the potential to make its way onto your playlist for downtime in the summer. The video shows a scene that appears to be a birthday gathering, but the people seem like they’ve had a little too much champagne and lost focus of the man of the hour. With only two other clips up online, Gallant himself is a bit mysterious. By the looks of it, though, he may be receiving the brunt of neglect at this celebration. Check out the video for “Please?
