Two Italian icons, Smeg and Fiat, have teamed up on an unexpected – and very unique – mini fridge. Dubbed the Smeg 500, the fridge is fashioned out of the front end of a classic Fiat 500. Boasting a 100L capacity, the fridge is opened by popping the hood and is controlled via the instrument panel embedded within. Staying true to the heritage of the car, the instrument panel and other features have been designed to keep with the original style of this classic beauty. No word yet on whether the Smeg 500 will be made available for purchase but it will be on display in the windows of colette starting May 27, so be sure to check it out if you’re in town.
