English designer Tom Bird created his brand, House of Billiam, in 2009. The London-based label specializes in bespoke garments, using UK-sourced fabrics to create various jackets and shirts made to the specifications of each unique customer. Bird is expertly skilled in making a variety of silhouettes, rendering his work instantly recognizable, yet never monotonous. For Bird, his work is his passion, and the clothier has only gotten better over time by using the input of his own customers. As opposed to ostentatious, unpractical items, this edition of Essentials sees the every day items Bird needs to further develop his craft.
