André 3000 deserves due credit for playing an integral role in modern crossover appeal. With this in mind, it seems impossible to avoid the notion that his new song with Los Angeles-based synth pop outfit Capital Cities is the reward for his own work. The result of their relationship has produced “Farrah Fawcett Hair,” the seemingly irresistible anthem from Capital Cities’ forthcoming In A Tidal Wave of Mystery. Following a proper introduction, Three Stacks forgoes his rhyming abilities for this song in favor of crooning about the finer things in life: smiling children, American Apparel ad girls and old school nomenclature. Enjoy the epic tune above, and be sure to pick up In A Tidal Wave of Mystery upon its June 4 release.
