A Brooklyn Heights playground has been renamed in honor of the late Beastie Boy Adam “MCA” Yauch. In a gathering to commemorate the name change from Palmetto Park to Adam Yauch Park, fellow Beastie Boy Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz and Yauch’s mother, Frances Yauch, took to the microphone to share their sentiments on the occasion. In related news to the memory of the Beastie Boys, Ad-Rock and Mike D announced they are working on a Beastie Boys memoir due out in 2015.
