Headed by Japanese designer Soichiro Ito, soe presents another refined collection that blends traditional tailoring with modern, artful arrangement. The Fall/Winter 2013 collections sees the predominant use of muted hues and traditional cut and sew over a number of recognizable outerwear – blazer, cardigan duffle coat and trench coat. Elsewhere, varsity-inspired sweaters, hoodies and hunting jackets see more casual interpretations. Showing reverence for timeless print, plaid patterns adorn other silhouettes, while collegiate fonts are printed on scarfs and beanies paired with pleated pants and well-fitted sweats, the collection shows soe’s dapper yet uninhibited motifs, presenting an on-point collection for the colder months.
