Ricoh prepares to release its upgraded GR point-and-shoot. Beefed up with a new 16.2 megapixel APS-C-sized sensor, the GR benefits from other hardware including its 18mm F2.8 lens, 3-inch screen with 1.23 million-dot high-resolution screen, and lack of AA filter for sharper photos. Its new features include a GR V image processing system and improved auto focus. With a body that measures 61mm by 117mm by 34.7mm at its widest point, Ricoh touts its new GR as the world’s smallest camera with its sensor size. We’ll update you with more details as we get closer to its release date in May.
