Joining the Quickstrike releases of the 1972 from Nike Sportswear in honor of this year’s NFL Draft is a special edition of the classic Air Trainer 1. Perhaps donning a Gucci-esque Black/Hyper Red-Gorge Green colorway as a nod to fashion’s favored on past draft days by NFL hopefuls, the premium take on the late ’80s trainer sees a black leather upper of smooth, perforated and tumbled paneling alongside a contrasting red midsole, a green outsole, and gold branding on the heel. The Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid PRM “Draft Day” QS will be available from hanon beginning this Friday, April 19 ahead of next week’s 2013 NFL Draft.
