Mollusk and Generic Surplus Make 'Shoes for the Subconscious'
Besides a shared interest in great product, both Mollusk and Generic Surplus call California home.
Besides a shared interest in great product, both Mollusk and Generic Surplus call California home. For Spring/Summer 2013, the duo teamed up to create a casual shoe that celebrates the Californian coast, as well as the “lifestyle of today’s modern adventurer.” Easy, minimal and made from brown, charcoal or navy suede with thin white soles, the Mollusk shoe transitions seamlessly from sand to pavement and can be dressed either up or down. “Shoes for the Subconscious” — the video filmed and edited by Alex Kopps for the project’s release — is available for your viewing pleasure above. Thankfully, the shoes are a little more tangible and may be purchased now at both Mollusk and Generic Surplus.
