In addition to today being 4/20, it also happens to be Record Store Day, and to help get music lovers off of the couches and down to their local record shops, MGMT has dropped off a brand new single, titled “Alien Days.” Hitting shelves today in the form of a cassette tape, the single has also been shared virally for those of us who aren’t fortunate enough to partake in the Record Store Day festivities. Stream the single up above, and prepare yourself for a psychedelic experience. MGMT’s upcoming album has been said to release this upcoming June, but at this point, only time will tell.
