Three years in the making and born out of countless conversations between Black Scale‘s Mega and both Dave and Russ of SSUR, the two labels have come together to present a collaborative collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Equally influenced by both coasts and paying homage to Black Scale’s San Fran roots and SSUR’s New York roots, the capsule collection – modeled here by John Boone and Akeem King in photography by Brian Nieves – is marked by the predominance of black and gold while including seafaring graphics like warships, anchors and gold-toothed skulls throughout. The Black Scale x SSUR 2013 spring/summer collection is available now at Black Scale’s brick and mortar locations and will be available online beginning at 11 a.m. PDT today.
